I still can't let it go~
I will just directly say everything out here. I joined MPD not for the purpose of gaining hostel but I want to gain experience. To be a part of them is definitely not easy. There were 5 phases but at the end become 4 phases. I went through 3 phases successfully. First, was via verbal interview where all the previous MPD seniors would sitting in a long table and you would be required to interview in groups. I did this part well where I know what to answer and do. The 2nd phase was to divide us into groups to earn money of RM500 in 3 days. We sold candies and I made it to sell the highest packets of candies. Even though we didn't make it to reach the target, but then we did a fanstatic job. The 3rd phase is I was put into the mini sukad sports activities. My leader listed 6 games and one of them is basketball. I was asked to do this. I'm just a freshly first student and they ask me to do. I was liked "Well, this is going to be challenging." At first, I was confused of doing it. But seems that time is rushing, I can only do everything quickly. I knocked every door of my whole block hostel to get participants to form at least 4 groups. Yes, I managed to form 8 groups. This is more than my expectations. I'm very happy. After screening and scanning, my leader reduce my teams to 5 groups only. She told me that she would like to distribute the group members to the other sports games. Fine, I let her to reduce because I believe this is team work. In order to make the whole sports squads games successful, each game has to have enough participants. So, my teams left only 5 teams. Fine. I don't know how the game will be. I can only seek help from the seniors. Asking one by one, I finally got 1 referee, who is the university team basketball player. He is willing to help me even though we don't know each other. He told me the rules and how the games would run. I prepare everything and he held the games.
